Our client, an established Canadian transportation organization, seeks an experienced Freight Forwarding Manager. With over five years in international logistics, you will manage complex shipments while building relationships with customers and carriers.
This role offers a pathway to greater leadership responsibilities as the organization continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage international ocean and air import/export shipments
• Build relationships with key customers and partners
• Handle operational issues and customer escalations
• Support freight pricing and new business opportunities
• Ensure compliance with shipping requirements
Requirements:
• 5–8+ years of freight forwarding experience
• Strong ocean and air freight knowledge
• Expertise in customs coordination and documentation
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
