Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.3 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. Killam's strategy to drive value and profitability focuses on three priorities: (1) increase earnings from the existing portfolio; (2) expand the portfolio and diversify geographically through accretive acquisitions, targeting newer properties and dispositions of non-core assets;

and (3) develop high-quality properties in its core markets.

At this time, we are looking for a self‑motivated, hardworking Cleaner to join us at Ellerdale Apartments in Saint John, NB. This role is full‑time, 40 hours per week during the day, Monday to Friday. If you enjoy interacting with others, are passionate about providing a clean and safe environment for residents, and take pride in a job well done, this may be the role for you!

What you will do:

Operate vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and other waste;

Wash windows and interior walls;

Pick up garbage;

Empty trash cans and other waste containers;

Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs;

Maintain cleanliness of common areas;

Report deficiencies to Property Manager for repair;

Other duties as required.

Who you are:

Previous experience in a similar role and/or customer service role is considered an asset;

Strong organizational and time management skills;

Able to work independently;

Solid communication skills.
