Position: Oiler Role with Bay Ferries Limited
Become an Oiler with Bay Ferries Limited, supporting our ferry operations between Digby and Saint John. This full-time seasonal position is essential for maintaining safety and efficiency in engine room operations.

In this role, you will assist the Engineer of the Watch in monitoring and maintaining the vessel's machinery. Your responsibilities include performing vital maintenance tasks and ensuring equipment is in top condition, aligning with our commitment to safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stand watches and monitor engine room equipment

• Support maintenance on water and sewage systems

• Clean and preserve machinery spaces regularly

• Ensure lubricating oil supplies are well-maintained

• Report any irregularities in equipment promptly

Requirements:

• Valid Candidate Document Number and relevant marine certifications

• Previous experience on passenger vessels preferred

• Strong focus on safety and operational standards

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Capability to manage diverse working environments
