Welder Specializing in Heavy Metals

Join The Ironworker as a Welder specializing in heavy metals and non-ferrous materials. This full-time role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

In this permanent position, you will operate sophisticated welding machinery, ensuring that all welds meet technical specifications. Candidates should be familiar with shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and have experience with tools like arc and gas welding machines. The role includes examining materials, interpreting welding drawings, and maintaining equipment, all while delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret welding blueprints and technical specifications

• Operate welding machines for metal fabrication

• Examine finished welds for compliance with standards

• Use metal shaping and bending machines effectively

• Carry out welding tasks for stainless steel and other materials

Requirements:

• Experience with SMAW and other welding techniques

• Capable of lifting heavy materials up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

• Own tools including steel-toed safety boots

• Efficient organizational and interpersonal skills

• Strong dedication to quality and client focus
