Job Title: Production Line Operator Hours: 6am - 2:30pm Rate of Pay: $18.50 Location: Saint John, NB Job Information

The Production Line Operator is responsible for safely operating and troubleshooting packaging equipment as part of a team while maintaining product quality, safety standards, and inventory accuracy. This role plays a key part in ensuring production runs efficiently while meeting brand and customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and support entry-level production lines involving manual, repetitive tasks to ensure the efficient processing of products.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure smooth operations, making adjustments as necessary to meet production targets.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Communicate openly with team members and supervisors regarding any issues that arise on the production line.
Requirements
  • CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including standing for long periods, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working in varying conditions (heights, temperature changes, outdoor environments).
  • Using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, bump caps, safety glasses, and masks when necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and adapt to changing production demands.
