Position: Registered Nurse for OBS/Surgical Unit
Explore a fulfilling Registered Nurse role at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in the OBS/Surgical Inpatient unit. This regular part-time position requires dedication to patient care across all shifts, including weekends.

We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse with a current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses. Candidates should demonstrate strong assessment skills, IV medication administration, and care for newborns. Experience in surgical and complex continuing care is an asset, along with effective communication and patient teaching abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care in the OBS/Surgical inpatient unit

• Administer IV medications and manage Central Venous Access Devices

• Assess and support antepartum, labor, and postpartum patients

• Advocate for breastfeeding support and certification

• Ensure excellent patient communication and education

Requirements:

• Current College of Nurses certificate of competence

• BCLS certification required; NRP willingness within 6 months

• ACoRN certification required or willingness to obtain

• Minimum one year full-time nursing experience preferred

• Police Vulnerable Sector Check required
