Part Time Registered Nurse at Horizon

Join Horizon Health Network as a Part Time Registered Nurse Class A in the Saint John area. Provide specialized cardiac nursing care in a collaborative environment.

This permanent part time role is based at the Saint John Regional Hospital, specifically within the 5BN Cardiac Services unit. Ideal candidates will have ICU or CCU experience and demonstrate proficiency in cardiac nursing standards. You'll support patients' unique needs through effective assessments and collaborative care management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive basic nursing care including hygiene and nutrition

• Conduct advanced assessments of patient health care needs

• Document patient care using DARP format and electronic health records

• Develop educational plans according to patient diagnoses

• Mentor new employees and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nursing of New Brunswick

• Minimum 1 year ICU or CCU experience or 3 years medical/surgical

• Certification in BCLS and ACLS

• Strong communication skills in English and spoken French

• Ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
