Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a detail-oriented, focused, and flexible individual to join our Maritime SPOR SUPPORT Unit (MSSU) team as a Research Assistant

Whoyou are
You have worked in a research environment for a minimum of 1 year and have a university degree in a health-related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
You have experience in participant recruitment, research data collection, and working within a multidisciplinary team.
You have an excellent proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications.
You also have excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level.
What you will do- Participate in the planning, development, and implementation of research protocols.
- Assist with day-to-day research activities and procedures, ensuring efficient workflow and data collection from research participants.
- Follow appropriate data collection systems and procedures, according to established research protocol.
- Collect, process, and record research data, both qualitative and quantitative, as required by established study protocol.
- Communicate study data and results to investigators or research team.
- Facilitate collaboration and administrative coordination between investigators and ancillary departments, research participants, sponsoring organizations, and/or regulating bodies.
- Represent and promote the objectives and activities of research studies to various internal and/or external constituencies, as appropriate.
