Cashier, Customer Service

Overview

This role is a full‑time position at a gas bar and confectionery/corner store where the primary responsibilities include cash handling, inventory management, and customer service.

• Operate cash register and electronic cash register systems.
• Stock shelves, maintain the counter area, and perform routine cleaning.
• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Verify age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol or tobacco products.

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required, but experience will be considered an asset.
• Full‑time student status acceptable.
• Basic computer and technology knowledge: electronic cash register, Interac machine, and computerized inventory record‑keeping and re‑ordering system.
• Strong oral communication, flexibility, team player, dependable.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast‑paced environment.
