Walmart Canada is seeking a  Digital Fulfillment Team Lead  at its Saint John, NB location (450 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J 4Z2). This Regular/Permanent position assists in the leadership of the Digital department processes, responds to problems and inquiries, and develops associates through teaching and training. The role ensures a high level of customer service while ensuring task completion, and plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions.

Responsibilities

Providing excellent customer service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.

Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Digital Fulfillment Coach and the Store Management Team. Delegate, assist and follow up on completion of daily picking and dispensing tasks.

Assesses the overall presentation of departments and in-stock levels, noting deficiencies for corrective action.

Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provides the team with updates, sets goals, and tracks productivity.

Reviews completed schedules with People Lead.

Assigns associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.

Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates, validates and identifies training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.

Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.

Completes GTA/Workday tasks and supports management.

Partners with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for associates. Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.
