Atlantic Superstore, located at 680 Somerset Street, Saint John, E2k 2V7, is hiring an Asset Protection Representative.
This role partners with store management to minimize product loss, raise Asset Protection awareness, and ensure the safety and security of our customers and staff.

As a Asset Protection Representative, you will:- Deter, detect and apprehend theft and fraud within our retail locations.
- Collaborate with other APRs to investigate provincial or national ORC cases when they arise.
- Collaborate with the local police service regularly.
- Detect and investigate internal incidents; compile and present evidence for court or arbitration.
- Identify potential shrink opportunities within our operational core compliance.
- Build and maintain store partnership through management meetings & huddles; coach and mentor colleagues regarding Asset Protection policies and procedures.
- Participate in conducting store‑level audits.
- Participate in community events.
- Work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends (40‑hour work week with flexibility around scheduling as the APR plans own schedule which is approved by manager).
Experience:
- Valid Provincial Security Guard License required.
- Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, Powers of Arrest, CCTV and/or surveillance systems and working knowledge of Windows‑based applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Professional, friendly and approachable demeanor.
- High degree of initiative and integrity.

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche : $19.00 / hour (per hour / de l’heure). Additional compensation may be influenced by candidate experience and geographic region.
