Saint John Resettlement Assistance Program Counsellor

Become a vital part of the Saint John community as a Resettlement Assistance Program Counsellor. In this full-time, interim position, you will support government-assisted refugees in their critical early weeks in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome refugees and assist in temporary accommodations

• Collaborate with health services for post-arrival assessments

• Utilize the iCARE system for daily reporting

• Engage with community groups to develop support networks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant education

• 3+ years of experience working with diverse populations

• Excellent English communication skills

• Willingness to adapt to flexible working hours

• Valid driver’s license and transportation options
