Job Description
Midland Transport is currently seeking a Terminal Manager for our Saint John Terminal. Reporting to the Director, Operations – Atlantic, the Terminal Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the terminal, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost‑effective service delivery.

- Lead terminal operations to achieve targets for cost control, safety, service quality, and asset utilization across transport and/or courier activities
- Demonstrate excellent leadership characteristics and the Irving Values
- Foster a highly engaged workforce through employee involvement, communication, and a positive workplace culture
- Implement the Irving Management System and foster a culture of continuous improvement at the terminal
- Collaborate with the Sales team to support business growth and ensure new customer onboarding aligns with Midland’s operational capabilities and standards
- Develop, coach, and guide both direct and indirect reports to strengthen team capability and support long‑term talent growth
- Education required:
University Degree in Transportation Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or related discipline - Experience:
7–10 years of progressive leadership experience within transportation or courier operations - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Exceptional critical thinking, problem‑solving, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team
