Part-Time Sorter at Purolator

Become a part-time Sorter at Purolator in Saint John, NB, where you'll be vital in our freight delivery operations. This role requires sorting packages to meet tight delivery schedules.

As a PM Sorter, you will work Monday through Friday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, focused on sorting freight by destination and type. Your responsibilities include unloading and loading freight, scanning for incorrect sorting, and handling bulk items manually. This entry-level position offers a great opportunity for physical work without the need for specialized training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload freight onto conveyors and curbside trucks

• Load and prepare items for delivery

• Scan packages to ensure correct sorting

• Preload mail and delivery vehicles with packages

• Transfer bulk items manually as necessary

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds

• Physical ability to stand and sort items

• Attention to detail and precision

• Basic teamwork and collaboration skills

• No previous experience is required
