Swing Driver - Class 3 w​/Airbrakes

Integrated Staffing is currently recruiting a Class 3 Swing Driver for a leading waste management company in the Saint-John, NB area. If you have a valid Class 3 license with air brake endorsement
, enjoy a fast-paced work environment, and are looking for a dynamic role with variety from day to day, we'd like to hear from you.

• Safely operate a variety of waste collection vehicles and equipment
  .
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
• Perform various driving and collection duties based on operational requirements,
  often with little notice.
• Service customers according to scheduled routes and contractual requirements.
• Open and close heavy bin doors, secure tarps, secure bins to trucks, and push or pull front-end bins for servicing.
• Collect residential waste and recycling as required.
• Maintain excellent customer service while interacting with customers.
• Use tablet technology to update routes and communicate with dispatch using the radio system.
• Keep assigned vehicles clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.
• Assist in operating different types of equipment and perform other duties as required.

• Valid Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement.
• Clean Driver's Abstract with no preventable accidents within the past year.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience operating waste collection equipment or similar heavy equipment is considered an asset.
• Excellent knowledge of the Saint-John area and surrounding communities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Physically capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and performing repetitive manual labour throughout the shift.
• Strong attendance record with a commitment to safety and productivity.
• Flexibility to work varying start and finish times, including Saturdays and statutory holidays as required.

• Starting wages $23.29/hrs + 4% vacation pay
