Drive highway routes from Saint John as a Class 1 Truck Driver, using safe equipment operation and accurate freight handling. This full-time position works days, Monday through Friday.
Armour seeks a dependable, professional driver to support operations as needed. The work includes regional highway runs, freight loading, handheld scanning, and communication with dispatch. Occasional weekend pick-up and delivery support may be required.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform highway runs primarily from Saint John
- Operate Class 1 equipment safely under regulations
- Load and unload freight accurately
- Complete documentation and handheld device scanning
- Communicate with dispatch for reliable service
- Valid unrestricted Class 1 license
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum two years tractor-trailer driving experience
- Recent manual transmission experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and adapt schedules
