As a Warehouse Lead, you will be a key support to daily operations, helping guide the team, maintain safe and efficient workflows, and ensure inventory and materials are handled accurately and responsibly. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading by example and contributing to a well-run operation that positively impacts the community.
Position Overview
The Warehouse Lead supports both warehouse and production functions, working closely with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role serves as a point of support on the floor, helping maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards while assisting with inventory control and material handling.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support within the warehouse and production areas
  • Load, unload, receive, store, and distribute inventory
  • Complete and assist with cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage or defects and report issues as needed
  • Secure materials properly to prevent damage or breakage
  • Assist with onboarding, guidance, and support of warehouse team members
  • Promote safe work practices in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 23 kg
  • Remain on your feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Basic math skills and ability to complete inventory documentation accurately
  • Previous warehouse experience required; leadership or senior-level experience is an asset
  • Forklift certification considered an asset or willingness to be trained
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and committed to quality work
  • Schedule & Location Details
  • Schedule:

    Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Transportation:
    Bus accessible
  • PPE & Dress Code
  • CSA-approved steel-toed boots required
  • Reflective safety vest provided
  • Clean warehouse attire required
  • Certifications & Requirements
  • Clean criminal record check required
  • Valid NB Class 5 driver’s license required
  • Fall arrest and forklift certifications considered assets (training available)
  • Physical & Safety Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Combination of standing, walking, bending, and manual handling
  • Forklifts in operation and regular heavy lifting
  • Awareness of trip hazards and adherence to designated safety zones
  • Team lifts or forklift use required for loads over 50 lbs
  • Warehouse is routinely maintained to ensure clear and safe walkways
  • Additional Duties
  • Split responsibilities between warehouse operations and front desk support
  • Coordinate and complete deliveries
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Order picking, shipping, and receiving
  • Inventory counting and verification
  • Forklift operation (training provided if required)
  • General warehouse housekeeping
  • Use of dollies and carts for material movement
  • The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, safety-minded, and a motivated self-starter with solid basic math skills.
