Purolator is hiring an AM Sorter for its Saint John distribution center. You will separate freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules. The work includes conveyor handling, vehicle loading, package preloading, and manual transfers.
Key Responsibilities:- Unload freight from curbside trucks onto conveyors
- Transfer freight from conveyors into curbside trucks
- Load linehaul trucks, cube trucks, or trailers
- Preload mail and packages into delivery vehicles
- Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
- No specialized education required
- No previous experience necessary
- Proficiency in English required
- Ability to lift and lower up to 70 pounds
- Attention to detail and precision concentration
