Job Overview
The Department of Emergency Medicine at West Virginia University (WVU), St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon, WV is seeking a full‑time physician to join our team. St. Joseph’s Hospital receives 24,000 Emergency Department (ED) visits per year, providing clinical opportunities and teaching for medical students and residents. The hospital is ranked in the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals for Best Practices in Quality in the Nation by the National Rural Health Association.
Qualifications- MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent), and eligibility to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license.
- Completed an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Emergency Medicine.
