Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Education with TESOL certification. 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Pre‑K‑12 educational settings. Training on administering MAP, ACCESS, W‑APT, and WIDA Model.

Schedule:
Per‑Approved Salary Schedule - Direct Report: Building Principal
- Terms of Employment: 9 Month
- Eligible for emergency telework: With Supervisor Approval
- Purpose: To provide instructional support to English Learners and teachers so that English Learners may receive an equitable education within our rigorous curriculum.
- Attend work in a regular, reliable, and punctual manner.
- Administer WIDA assessments and provide scores to the ELD Office.
- Teach reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English‑to‑English Learners (ELs).
- Teach academic vocabulary to English Learners.
- Evaluate, select, and prepare class materials based on test scores and student needs.
- Push‑in, pull‑out, teach an ELD course, or co‑teach a content course to provide ELD services that result in ELD students’ academic success on grade‑level in English and all content areas.
- Collect data of students’ progress in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English to share in PLCs and with the ELD Department in order to assist ELD students in becoming proficient in English while learning grade‑level content.
- Provide strategies to classroom teachers with English Learners in their classrooms. Collaborate with classroom teachers to maximize learning opportunities for English Learners.
- Communicate with parents at parent‑teacher conferences.
- Participate in professional development to enhance instructional skills.
- Other assigned duties.
