Food Safety Quality Assurance Supervisor - 3rd Shift

This role involves variable work activities that require sound judgment, prioritization, evaluation of results, and effective coordination with colleagues. Flexibility in work hours and occasional weekend coverage may be required.

• Conduct audits and assist the FSQA manager in ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Prepare the facility for GFSI and customer-specific audits.
• Investigate and address customer complaints, foreign material incidents, and environmental issues.
• Verify production paperwork and conduct production floor checks.
• Execute GMP and housekeeping audits.
• Oversee the annual reassessment of HACCP.
• Facilitate Team Member food safety training.
• Perform a variety of tasks requiring sound judgment, including prioritization, result evaluation, and effective collaboration with colleagues.
• Provide coverage on other shifts as needed.

• Education:
  
  High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 2 years in a food manufacturing environment, with experience in Ready-to-Eat (RTE) USDA preferred. Prior supervisory experience beneficial. HACCP certification and knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, and SSOPs preferred.
• Computer
  
  Skills:
  
  Basic computer skills for creating simple queries and spreadsheets. SAP knowledge advantageous.
• Communication:
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Supervisory:
  This role involves supervising a small group of personnel with similar tasks.
• Must reside in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
