CNC Machinist

We are currently seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, with experience in operating various machine tools to produce precision parts. The Machinist will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, setting up machines, and fabricating parts to exact specifications. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality are essential for success in this role.

Day Shift: 5:00AM - 3:30PM, M-Th - 4 Days

Night Shift: 6:30PM - 5:00AM, M-Th - 4 Days - $2/hour Shift Diff Paid

Weekends: 6:00AM - 6:30PM, F-Su - 3 Days - 11% Shift Diff Paid

Responsibilities Of a Machinist

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• Fabricate parts using manual and CNC machining techniques
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
• Troubleshoot issues with machines and tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and improve efficiency

Requirements Of a Machinist

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred
• Proven experience as a Machinist or similar role
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with manual and CNC machining techniques
• Knowledge of machine tools and their operation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
