Overview

Van‑Am Tool & Engineering is hiring General Laborers for our St. Joseph, MO manufacturing facility. The role offers full‑time schedules in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment where innovation, teamwork, and creativity drive everything we do.

• Day: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Mon‑Thurs (4 days)
• Evening: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM, Mon‑Thurs (4 days, +$2 /hr)
• Weekend: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Fri‑Sun (3 days, +11% differential)

As a General Labor team member you may work in the Press Room, Powder Coating, Sandblasting, or Laser operations. These areas give you the chance to learn multiple aspects of metal manufacturing and develop skills that can carry you far in your career.

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• Drive to succeed in a manufacturing setting.

• Prior experience in metal manufacturing is highly valued, but we also look for adaptability, problem‑solving skills, and a positive attitude.

• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
