Summary

• Clinic LPN administers quality patient care according to established standards. Clinic LPN may delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel. May be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patients.

• This position works under the supervision of the Clinic Manager and the direction of the provider and/or Clinic RN and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.
Duties

• Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment. Performs general nursing care to patients.

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.

• Assists provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures.

• Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome.

• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program, or military equivalent is required. All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable.

• LPN IV - LPN IV Cert
-State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location upon hire is required

• IV Certification - IV certified upon hire or within one year is required.

• Clinical CLS - Basic Life Support within 90 Days

• Non Clinical/DL - Driver's License - valid and in state is required if operating a motor vehicle for business purposes upon hire
