Barista

Overview

Pronto Cafe is seeking a friendly Barista to fulfill orders and complete sales transactions quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and take pride in completing their work.

Depending on shift and station assignment, may be required to:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers
• At all times exhibit a friendly, courteous attitude toward customers and co-workers
• Prepare and serve beverages and food items consistently by adhering to all recipe standards
• Accurately operate cash registers in accordance with Cash Register Procedures
• Assist with setup, cleanup, stockwork and handling of food items
• Perform cleaning and maintenance procedures as directed by the person in charge of the shift
• Comply at all times with Pronto Cafe s dress code and personal appearance standards
• Comply with all The Cafe s policies and procedures, including relevant federal and state regulations regarding mixers and ovens. (i.e. safety and environmental standards, OSHA, EPA, Right-to-know, EEO, ADA, etc.)
• Perform all of the essential duties of this position in a safe and effective manner, consistent with the guidelines and methods established by Pronto Cafe.
• Perform other duties as directed by Manager or Shift Supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Previous cash handling experience preferred
