All About On DemandYou can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) with a flexible schedule. You will not be included on the posted weekly schedule and will select shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime app. Reliable attendance is required. You must engage by picking up and working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours).
If you do not respond to contact attempts or fail to work a shift within 5 months, employment may be terminated. If offered a position, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and follow a short-term training schedule. The myTime app is used to pick shifts after training.

Guest advocates welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment, and store cleanliness. They support in-store and digital services and are knowledgeable about capabilities that drive adoption and guest loyalty. They provide fast, accurate service at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, and pickup/drive-up while upholding quality.

As a Guest Advocate, a typical day will include the following responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing tasks
- Engage with guests to assist with needs and solve issues
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to improve guest experience
- Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
- Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards
- Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- Inform guests about current brand launches and store activities
- Explain benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment; know how to direct to fulfillment services
- Explain and assist with Wallet and Target App features
- Handle returns per policy, seeking leadership help as needed
- De-escalate situations in collaboration with leaders
- Deliver accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work safely and report hazards; comply with safety training
- Support guest services including order pickup, Drive-Up orders, and returns with compliance to relevant laws
- Support Cash Office processes as needed
- All other duties based on business needs
- You enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and fellow team members
- You thrive in a fast-moving, active environment with teamwork and problem solving
- You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays)

Basics We Expect
- Accurate cash handling and support of cash office operations
- Stock merchandise safely, with lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Flexible with shift pickup (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Active engagement: pick up shifts and respond to contact attempts; must work at least one shift within 5 months or face termination
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.)
- Mobility for the duration of scheduled shifts
