Position: Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or

B)

Location: St. Joseph, MO

Responsibilities include the safe and efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders, hard goods, and related products, following a computer-generated local route to customer locations. This role involves physical activity, including loading and unloading at client sites, and engaging with customers to provide excellent service.

Key duties:

• Deliver products, making 10-12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Accurately record delivery and pickup quantities and styles
• Complete hazardous material shipping documents per DOT regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Identify and report vehicle maintenance needs
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams to meet business goals
• Continuously learn about Linde’s operations to support organizational growth
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from an accredited Truck Driving School
• Valid Class A or B CDL required
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or violations in the past 2 years
• No recent alcohol-related convictions
• Pass DOT physical and obtain medical certification
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
• Fluent in reading and writing English
• High School diploma or G.E.D. required
• Must be 21 years or older
• Strong organizational, listening, and communication skills
• High standards of honesty and integrity
