Key Responsibilities- Supervise the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Prepare complete financial statements.
- Coordinate and support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
- Monitor banking activities and cash flow to maintain healthy liquidity.
- Analyze cost variances and provide meaningful financial insights.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis.
- Prepare year‑end audit files and liaise with external auditors.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and enhancing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accounting Certificate, or CPA in progress.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is an asset.
- Experience with in manufacturing, food, or distribution environments.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
