As an Electronics Assembly Technician, you will be at the heart of bringing these products to life—assembling, soldering, and testing the printed circuit boards that power our load pull, noise parameter, and pulsed measurement systems.
We are looking for a hands‑on, detail‑oriented technician with a strong background in electronics assembly and PCB manufacturing. We are in hyper‑growth mode and are looking for someone who takes pride in workmanship and wants to make an impact at a game‑changing company with a mission to innovate.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Perform SMT and through‑hole PCB assembly, soldering, rework, and testing.
- Assemble prototypes and production units according to engineering documentation.
- Inspect assembled PCBs to ensure quality and workmanship standards are met.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Create, update, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electronic products.
- Manage component databases and part numbering systems.
- Prepare assembly reports, work instructions, and technical documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel.
This position requires the following skillsets and attributes with an emphasis on technical expertise and attention to detail.
- 2+ years of experience in electronics assembly and PCB manufacturing.
- Strong soldering and PCB troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with BOM management software.
- Solid understanding of electronic components, schematics, and PCB layouts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data management.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word for creating technical documents, reports, and work instructions.
- IPC soldering certification (IPC‑A‑610, J‑STD‑001, or equivalent) is an asset.

- Strong problem‑solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Good organizational skills for managing documentation and component data.
- Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident is preferred.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; bilingualism (English/French) is considered an advantage.
