Shipper​/Receiver

Our team builds the precision RF and microwave systems used by the world’s leading technology companies to characterize active devices from R&D to production. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will play a key role in getting these products safely to our customers around the world: packaging our precision systems, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, and supporting our production team with material preparation.

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person with solid experience in shipping, receiving, or a warehouse environment. We are in hyper-growth mode and are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to make an impact at a game-changing company with a mission to innovate.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

Prepare and pack outgoing shipments using the appropriate tools and materials (tape guns, stretch wrap, strapping equipment, and custom box sizing) to ensure products are secure for transit.

Accurately weigh and measure all outgoing packages.

Act as a backup for shipping documentation and shipment setup, including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and export declarations through the Canadian Export Reporting System (CERS).

Coordinate shipments through Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, and other carriers, and communicate with freight forwarders as required.

Support import and export activities, resolve shipping issues, and maintain accurate shipping records and tracking information.

Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices, and report any damage or discrepancies.

Organize inventory and store received materials in their designated locations.

Mask and tape materials according to specifications, and polish and buff machined parts to meet quality standards.

Operate the laser engraving machine to apply designs, logos, or text to products.

Safely operate a fully powered pallet stacker to move, stack, and stage inventory.

Drive a company vehicle for local pickups and deliveries with suppliers and partners.

Qualifications
This position requires the following skillsets and attributes with an emphasis on reliability and attention to detail.

High school diploma (DES) or equivalent.

Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or a warehouse environment.

Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

Experience operating material handling equipment, specifically a fully powered pallet stacker.

Familiarity with international shipping documentation and carrier platforms is an asset.

Experience with laser engraving machines and basic design or laser software is an asset (training provided).

Basic computer skills.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Knowledge of French and English (spoken and written) is required, as this role involves regular communication with international carriers, freight forwarders, and customers, and the preparation of international shipping documents in English.
