Staff Accountant

Job Title: Staff Accountant (Contract-To-Hire)

Location: St. Louis park, MN (This is a hybrid role requiring weekly onsite presence, only local residents on MN will be considered)

Pay Rate: $28-$35/hr Dependent on applicable experience

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
• Support AP/AR functions, expense tracking, and accruals as needed.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations, variance analyses, and financial statements.
• Assist with audit requests and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing accounting projects and process improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred (public or corporate).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting procedures.
• Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn and grow.
