Job Type & Schedule

• Job Type: Full-time

• Schedule: Monday to Friday – No weekends

Work Requirements

• Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts

• Ability to Commute: St. Louis Park, MN (Required)

• Work Location: In person

Compensation & Incentives

• Pay Range: $25 – $45 per hour (based on experience and certifications)

• Incentives: Additional earning opportunities based on qualifications

• Pay Frequency: Weekly

Role Summary

West End Lincoln is seeking an experienced Automotive Main Line Technician to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. Ford or Lincoln experience is preferred, but technicians with experience in other OEM brands are encouraged to apply. You’ll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are serviced efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs on vehicles

• Accurately complete repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards

• Conduct test drives to verify repairs and ensure vehicle performance

• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding diagnostics, repairs, and timelines

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Stay current with factory training and certifications to maintain technical proficiency

• Uphold dealership and manufacturer standards for quality and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience required

• Ford or Lincoln certification preferred (other OEM experience considered)

• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and repair manuals

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

• Positive attitude, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset
