This position is hybrid, located at nVent's corporate office in St. Louis Park, MN. Relocation is not offered.
**** WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
*** Analyze spend across categories and perform detailed supply market analyses.
* Partner with Project Leads and Managers to enable material cost-reduction initiatives.
* Develop and implement supplier identification strategies and cost-comparison methodologies.
* Ensure adherence to standardized sourcing processes and find opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Optimize supply management software and systems to enhance data accuracy and reporting capabilities.## ## ##
** YOU HAVE:
*** Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related degree.
* 1+ years of experience in Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, or Procurement, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Ability to prioritize multiple sourcing projects in a fast-paced environment
* Prior experience in cost reduction initiatives, supplier negotiations, and market analysis.
* Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
* Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and operations teams to support sourcing strategies.
* Skilled in using logic and structured reasoning to identify root causes, evaluate options, and implement solutions.
* Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
* Familiarity with JDE, MRP/ERP systems, Sievo, Enovia, and Esker preferred.
* Experience documenting and finding opportunities for efficiency improvements.
