Job Overview

Tower Light Senior Living is located in historic St. Louis Park, Minnesota, just 10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. Our community offers 115 independent living units, assisted living apartments, memory care and enhanced care suites, and an intergenerational day care program. We are seeking a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide to provide personal care and support to senior residents. No CNA, MN, or NAR certification is required unless the applicant is under 18 years old.

The position is part‑time and includes the following schedule:

• 48 hours per two‑week pay period
• Day shift, block schedule
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Full benefits package

• Assist residents with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, and use of hearing aids or glasses.
• Support 1‑to‑2 person transfers and assist with mechanical lifts.
• Perform health‑related support under RN supervision, including blood glucose monitoring, medication administration (including insulin injections), and vital sign documentation.
• Help with household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, meal service, and resident activities.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional conditions and contribute to care planning.
• Act as a mandated reporter and timely report any concerns of mistreatment.
• Respond to emergencies following established protocols.

• Excellent communication skills, compassion, and kindness toward residents and coworkers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Curiosity and interest in working with a diverse, older population.
• CNA certification is required if the applicant is under 18.

• High school diploma, GED, or completion of a formal NA or HHA course.
• Previous experience as HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, or PCA.
