RAYUS Radiology – HR Leave & Accommodation Specialist
The pay range for this position is $26.63 - $38.51 per hour, based on direct and relevant experience.
RAYUS Radiology is looking for a HR Leave & Accommodation Specialist to join our team. As a HR Leave & Accommodation Specialist you will provide support for leave of absence, accommodations, and disability plans and programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations. You will facilitate team members’ time off and accommodations, support smooth returns to work, and ensure a positive team member experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (70%) Leave of Absence, Short/Long-Term Disability & ADA Management
Coordinate and administer all aspects of team member leave of absences (LOAs), ADA, return to work and extended medical leave programs, ensuring compliance with local, state and federal laws.Collaborate with the organization’s disability/leave of absence vendor and act as a liaison between vendor and team members.Provide instruction, guidance and exceptional customer service to team members and managers in navigating the complexities of the LOA and ADA processes, ensuring required touchpoints.Consult and coordinate with HR Managers (Business Partners), Legal, Payroll & Benefits and external vendors to resolve complex and time‑sensitive situations.Research and interpret HR policy and legislative developments to ensure continued compliance.Remain knowledgeable about benefits related to leave of absence and disability (ADA) regulations and best practices.Respond to team member, manager and vendor questions and escalations.Drive a high level of team member and leader satisfaction through service delivery, quality and identification of trends and opportunities to enhance the experience.Provide support for compliance audits.Focus on continuous improvement and innovation to refine and evolve processes and best practices.(15%) Worker's Compensation
Provide support for Workers' Compensation related inquiries and required reporting.Submit Workers' Compensation claims to the vendor in a timely manner.Coordinate return‑to‑work efforts.Partner with legal, safety and compliance teams as needed.(5%) Systems/Information Management
Maintain data in HR systems and process reports.(5%) Unemployment
Process basic unemployment requests.Partner with HR Managers/Business Partners on unemployment‑related situations as needed.(5%) Other Tasks and Projects as Assigned
Provide support with special projects.Perform any and all related duties as assigned by manager.SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS Required
High School Diploma or equivalent.Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field.Three (3) years’ experience working on leave of absence, return to work programs, ADA, short‑term and long‑term disability.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Occasional travel capability.Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS).Human Resources certification.RAYUS Radiology is committed to delivering clinical excellence.
