What you ll doWe re looking for a Senior Content Strategist to join our team and play a key role in delivering impactful digital experiences. In this role, you ll collaborate cross-functionally with strategists, UX designers, developers, content authors, and project managers to shape and execute content strategies that drive meaningful business outcomes. You ll lead both on-going retainer programs and new consulting engagements, applying a platform agnostic approach to solve diverse business challenges.
We re seeking someone with a strong track record in developing and executing content strategies that support objectives such as brand awareness and engagement, lead generation and conversion, customer retention and advocacy.
- Develop and articulate a clear, strategic point of view for content that aligns with brand identity, business goals, and user needs.
- Lead content strategy deliverables from discovery through execution and subsequent optimization phases across client engagements.
- Analyze performance data and user behavior to uncover insights that inform content decisions and optimization opportunities.
- Conduct industry and competitive reviews to identify content gaps and strategic opportunities.
- Perform detailed content audits and gap analyses to evaluate performance against business objectives.
- Build and maintain content inventories to support site migration planning, information architecture design, and content governance.
- Partner with SEO specialists to integrate search best practices into content strategies.
- Define the digital content strategy from a site wide template level to a page specific level.
- Build governance frameworks to ensure quality, consistency, and accountability.
- Create scalable taxonomy structures aligned with business and customer needs.
- Collaborate with the Practice Lead to grow the content strategy discipline, contributing to service offerings, tools, and team development.
- A strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and content that delivers measurable results.
- Naturally curious and proactive about staying ahead of trends in content strategy, UX, and digital marketing.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and fast-paced project environments.
- A strong communicator with excellent writing, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a knack for managing complex projects and deliverables.
- 7-10 years of content strategy experience, ideally within an agency or consulting environment.
- A bachelor s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Proficiency with content management systems, keyword research tools, and SEO fundamentals.
- Willingness and ability to apply AI-driven techniques to the content strategy process to drive efficiency.
