Process Technician, Metal Spinning - 1st Shift

• Set up and operate programmable and template metal‑spinning lathes to produce precise components.
• Read blueprints and work orders to determine specifications, tolerances, and choose appropriate tooling.
• Monitor spinning processes, test sample material, punch or die performance, and adjust operations to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
• Perform machine adjustments, implement process improvements, and troubleshoot tooling, material or machine performance to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools for quality and compliance.
• Maintain routine equipment cleaning, organization, and storage areas.
• Create and maintain process documentation and accurate production records.
• Communicate effectively during shift transitions and work with engineering, quality and support teams to resolve issues.
• Train, mentor and support technicians, assistants and operators to maintain workflow and standards.
• Monitor productivity, adjust processes to meet cycle‑time goals, and ensure safety compliance.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in metal fabrication or machining preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in metal spinning or related metal forming processes.
• Strong knowledge of metal properties and forming techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• High mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with quality standards and troubleshooting techniques.
• Self‑motivation and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour
