Senior Project Accountant

Base Pay Range

$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Kforce's client in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to manage project financials for construction operations. Key duties include processing invoices, preparing AIA-standard pay applications, submitting lien waivers, tracking payments, and supporting project closeout. The Senior Project Accountant will drive process improvements and collaborate across teams to ensure accuracy and profitability. This position will be a hybrid schedule—4 days in the office and 1 day at home.

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3-5 years of accounting experience (construction/project accounting preferred)
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and a strong communicator
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, tactful, and respectful communication style
• Works well under pressure and in collaborative, cross‑functional teams
• Demonstrates accuracy, quality, and thoroughness in all work
