• Direct senior, semi‑senior and associate staff, and staff accountants.
• Ensure assignments are accomplished within the budgeted time.
• Interact with clients to discuss tax issues throughout the year.
• Develop technical knowledge through organization meetings, training programs, industry events and research activities.
• Identify risk management issues and propose potential solutions through research and collaboration.
• Conduct research and draw conclusions to address target issues.

• 5+ years of progressive tax preparation, review and supervisory experience.
• Technically proficient in corporate, international, federal, state and local tax; solid background in corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, C‑ Corps, partnerships and trusts.
• Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, corporate consolidated returns, consolidated federal tax returns, partnership returns and combined state tax returns.
• Ability to manage staff on multiple engagements.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license required.
• Ability to work in a team environment, supervise staff and lead projects.
• Availability for additional hours as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Previous experience in public accounting.
• Master’s degree in taxation or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, tax software, Pro Systems and CCH.
