Senior Accountant
A national retail company headquartered in South County St. Louis is experiencing continued growth and is adding a Senior Accountant to its team. This is a direct‑hire opportunity with strong leadership, a stable environment, and clear room for professional growth.
Responsibilities- Partner with the Controller to oversee the month‑end close
- Assist with the annual audit
- Review the general ledger and journal entries
- Prepare account reconciliations and resolve variances
- Support process improvements and internal controls
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or a large regional company
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA, MAcc, or MBA preferred
- Medical, vision, and dental insurance
