Tax and Accounting Professional

Lordo CPA is seeking a part‑time Tax and Accounting Professional. The position will initially be part-time with flexible hours and has the potential to grow into a full‑time role for the right person. Compensation is $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience and skill set. Job requirements include at least three years of tax preparation experience, experience preparing individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and trust tax returns using Lacerte;

responding to tax notices; preparing powers of attorney; and researching tax issues. An accounting background and experience with small‑business accounting are also beneficial. A CPA or EA designation is a plus, but not required.

• Preparation of Individual, Partnership, C and S corporation and Trust returns using Lacerte software
• Prepare POA’s, respond to tax notices and various other tax compliance filings
• Researching tax issues

• At least 3 years of tax preparation experience
• Experience in a CPA firm is beneficial
• Strong organizational and personal skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Proficient with Quick Books Online
• Intermediate level of tax experience
• Knowledgeable with Lacerte Tax Software
• Technologically proficient and Microsoft 365 knowledge
• Comfortable working in a small, growth orientated office
