Senior Accounting Analyst

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst in Saint Louis, MO. Duties:

• Senior Accounting Analyst will own and support month-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Calculate and reconcile revenue transactions
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Support revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting
• As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will partner with business stakeholders to explain financial results
• Assist with inventory and cost accounting activities as needed
• Support audit requests and special projects
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounting function

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with revenue accounting and account reconciliations
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills
• Experience with large ERP systems preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
