Stifel's Corporate Accounting Department plays a vital role within the organization, overseeing critical financial functions and ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting. The Payroll Intern within Stifel's Corporate Accounting Department will gain valuable hands‑on experience, develop practical accounting skills, and contribute to overall financial well‑being of the organization.

• Assist with reviewing payroll information and reports for accuracy.
• Help maintain payroll records and support documentation.
• Support payroll reporting and basic reconciliation activities.
• Assist with gathering and organizing documentation for audits and other department needs.
• Help research payroll questions and resolve basic discrepancies.
• Support various payroll projects and daily administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with Payroll team members and other departments as needed.

• Interest in learning about payroll, accounting, and business operations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum
  
  Required:
  
  Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least 1 year of college completed.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
