Accounting Coordinator

Our client is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role requires a strong understanding of bookkeeping, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments in a deadline-driven environment.

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable, including vendor setup, invoice coding, approvals, and payment processing
• Manage accounts receivable, including billing, cash applications, collections, and aging reports
• Maintain vendor records, W-9s, and supporting documentation
• Process employee credit card transactions and ensure proper coding and approvals
• Prepare bank reconciliations, fixed asset schedules, and depreciation tracking
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, payroll allocations, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide backup support for deposits, administrative tasks, and other accounting functions as needed

Accountant Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree preferred;
  High School Diploma required
• 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, AP, and AR processes
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
