Secretary II - Special Services

The 22nd Judicial Circuit Court seeks applicants for a Secretary II. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. Three years clerical/typing/office experience desired. Minimum typing skills of 55 words per minute preferred. Experience using computer equipment, certified mail. Knowledge of legal terminology, certified mail and summonses helpful. Must be 21 year of age. Initial salary is $36,348. EOE.

• Under the general supervision of the Unit Supervisor or Department Manager, perform work of moderate difficulty, including greeting public, answering telephone and routing incoming calls, typing letters, affidavits, monthly reports, etc., compiling statistical or other data processing information manually or on an automated system including Excel spreadsheets, and performing all other clerical functions as assigned.
• All assignments include entry into the Show Me Courts System.
• Assignments may include being called upon to substitute for other clerical positions in any Court Department such as the courtroom, the Business Office, the lobby reception desk and other positions.
