Position SummaryThe President of Oakline Studio will serve as the strategic and operational leader, the lead designer, and the primary business generator for the firm. The role involves driving growth, ensuring design excellence and client satisfaction, and improving operational efficiencies. It is a hands‑on role suitable for a licensed architect with strong leadership, client development, and entrepreneurial skills.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Strategy:
- Provide vision and leadership, aligning Oakline Studio’s goals with Artori Group objectives.
- Lead strategic planning, financial management, and operational oversight.
- Create a culture built around collaboration, care, and creativity.
- Business Development:
- Proactively pursue and secure new project opportunities; lead proposals, fee negotiation, and contract finalization.
- Act as primary client relationship manager, maintaining high visibility and leveraging professional networks to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Define the firm’s strategic market niche and manage all marketing efforts to build a steady pipeline of profitable work.
- Represent the firm at industry events and in the community to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Architectural Practice:
- Serve as lead designer on all key projects, ensuring adherence to the firm’s vision and quality standards from concept through construction.
- Provide oversight on all projects, ensuring technical accuracy, design quality, and compliance with applicable codes.
- Mentor and develop staff, guiding design, project management, and professional growth.
- Balance creative design leadership with technical rigor.
- Operations & Management:
- Oversee project delivery, staffing, budgets, and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
- Manage financial performance, driving revenue growth, profitability, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with sister companies in development, construction, and property management for seamless integration of services.
- Licensed architect in Missouri or North Carolina.
- NCARB certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive architectural experience, including significant leadership roles.
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
- Experience working within a private equity, real‑estate development, or institutional investment environment is highly preferred.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
