Business Data Analyst

Job Description

The Business Analyst will apply solid understanding of the client’s logistics capabilities and processes to isolate and resolve supply process/system issues, identify ways to systematically improve the accuracy of operational needs to set short- and long-term goals for production, capacity, and distribution, and support continuous improvement projects to drive process standardization and efficiency improvement. Some additional responsibilities will include: reviewing and owning key performance indicators, finding opportunities to improve performance and executing implementation of said improvement, modeling demand and supply efficiency scenarios to ensure the preparedness and flexibility of the supply chain, work cross functionally to ensure inputs to planning model accuracy, optimizing the network volume allocation to minimize costs while delivering extraordinary service level, and focusing on better world initiatives through minimizing miles traveled to deliver network plan.

They will take the information gathered above and treat it as a "project" and present to stakeholders the issues and how they can solve. This person must be able to work 5 days onsite in St. Louis, MO.

• 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience managing projects from start to finish, with a problem and a solution identified
• Experience analyzing financial data, budgets and forecasting Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills presenting to stakeholders
• Has communicated with 3rd parties, vendors, or multiple cross functional teams
• Bachelor’s Degree Supply chain/logistics experience
• Experience using BI tools for dashboards/reporting (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc)
• Well-versed in SQL queries to pull data for reporting and analysis
