Our legacy includes landmark projects such as the roof structure of the Dome at America’s Center and the redevelopment of St.
Louis Union Station.
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Director of Business Development to lead strategic growth initiatives across key markets. This role is critical to expanding EDM’s client base, increasing revenue, and positioning the firm for long‑term success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead business development strategy targeting regional architects, government agencies, healthcare, industrial, and entertainment sectors.
- Develop and execute multi‑market annual business plans with defined fee goals.
- Cultivate new client relationships and strengthen existing ones across design and construction firms.
- Coordinate teaming strategies and project pursuit efforts.
- Oversee RFQ/SOQ submissions and conference participation.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine promotional materials and digital presence.
- Drive lead generation and market intelligence efforts.
- Proven track record in sales and revenue generation within the AEC industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business development or sales.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
