Engagement Lead

Own client engagements across discovery, solution delivery, and ongoing support. Partner with clients to translate ambiguous business problems into clear, actionable requirements and decisions for technical delivery teams. Lead discovery activities, including stakeholder conversations, working sessions, documentation review, prototyping, and solution validation. Develop first drafts of requirements, executive summaries, presentations, process documentation, and other engagement deliverables for client review. Create clear, implementation-ready artifacts that enable engineering teams to execute efficiently.

Evaluate client requests and existing solutions to identify the underlying business objective rather than simply documenting requested features. Use AI-assisted tools and rapid prototyping techniques to help clients visualize potential solutions and make decisions more quickly. Bring clear recommendations and informed points of view into client conversations rather than presenting options without guidance. Facilitate client meetings focused on resolving open questions, making decisions, and maintaining delivery momentum.

Partner closely with engineering and technical leadership to ensure requirements, workflows, and expected outcomes are clearly defined before development begins. Manage engagement logistics, including stakeholder scheduling, deliverable tracking, meeting cadence, follow-ups, and project timelines. Support senior leaders during strategic discovery and planning engagements while maintaining continuity into subsequent delivery efforts. Monitor the health and success of delivered solutions and proactively surface issues or changing business needs.

Maintain strong client relationships throughout the engagement lifecycle. Identify opportunities for additional solutions or enhancements based on evolving client needs. Manage multiple concurrent client engagements and priorities. Help develop and improve processes, tools, standards, and best practices for requirements gathering, solution intake, and AI-assisted software delivery.

7+ years of experience in a client-facing technology delivery role such as Solutions Consultant, Engagement Manager, Sales Engineer, Technical Product Manager, Delivery Lead, or similar. Demonstrated experience translating ambiguous client or business problems into clear requirements, workflows, recommendations, and deliverables for engineering teams. Experience owning client engagements or technical initiatives from discovery through implementation and ongoing support. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and the relationship between business requirements, solution design, and technical delivery.

Experience using AI-assisted tools to support discovery, prototyping, requirements development, research, or solution validation. Ability to rapidly develop prototypes, drafts, or other tangible artifacts that help stakeholders evaluate and refine potential solutions. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand application architecture, integrations, workflows, data considerations, and technical constraints. Ability to identify unclear or unrealistic requirements and work with business and technical stakeholders to develop practical solutions.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to provide clear recommendations, challenge assumptions constructively, and help stakeholders make decisions. Strong organizational skills and ability to independently manage multiple client engagements and priorities. Ability to work effectively with engineering teams, technical leadership, business stakeholders, and senior executives. US-based with availability to work primarily Central and Eastern time zone business hours.

Experience with modern AI-assisted development and prototyping platforms. Experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Replit, Lovable, or similar technologies.
