Project Consultant - Residential Remodel - Sales​/Estimating

Agape Construction Company, an Award-Winning Design Build Company specializing in RESIDENTIAL ADDITIONS AND REMODELS based in Kirkwood, MO, is seeking a PROJECT CONSULTANT (Estimating/Sales).

Agape offers base pay with generous commissions and full benefits package.

The Project Consultant is responsible for securing the sale of our residential remodel projects. Responsibilities include meeting with potential clients at their homes to discuss the scope and feasibility of their desired projects, offering alternative options if possible, providing a ballpark estimate of the cost, and obtaining a design agreement. The Project Consultant will oversee the design process with our Architect, obtain bids from subcontractors and vendors and prepare the contract.

Once a contract is signed and permits are secured, the Project Consultant will hand off the job to the assigned Project Manager but will maintain a relationship with the client throughout the course of construction.

• Have a minimum of 5 years of residential remodel estimating and sales experience
• Have a proven sales record; be able to close a sale
• Have field experience as a residential carpenter
• Be able to efficiently read and interpret blueprints
• Have up-to-date knowledge of new products and trends in the residential remodel industry
• Be computer proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Have good analytical skills, able to make decisions and solve problems
• Have excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Be detail oriented while keeping an eye on the big picture
• Have good follow through and follow up; be completion-oriented and deliver on commitments and promises
• Have a clean background check
